Which shape suits your photo?

We set this for you as soon as you add a photo — the rectangle for a normal photo, turned the way yours already is, and the square for a square one. Change it whenever you like; your choice always wins.

  • Rectangle — best for most phone photos. Works standing up or lying down, so pick the way round you want it below.
  • Square — best if your photo is already square, like an Instagram post. Nothing gets trimmed off the sides.
  • Circle — happy with any photo, portrait or landscape. Looks best when your subject sits near the middle.

Photo tips

Bright, well-lit photos print best. Aim for at least 1000 × 1000 pixels — most modern phone photos are well above this.
